2009 WPFJ The Dove's Guitar Winner!

Congratulations again to Mr. Thomas Alderman!  His name was drawn for the autographed guitar!

Thomas came and visited the studio to claim his prize!  While he was here, he shared with us that he almost didn't register because he believed these kinds of things were "rigged" and he never wins anything.  But, he went ahead and filled out a slip while shopping for a computer in Tech Place!

The touching part of the story, Thomas is a musician and plays the guitar.  For Christmas, Thomas' wife gave him an early present which was an acoustic amplifier.  Keep in mind, Thomas didn't have an acoustic guitar before his name was pulled Saturday evening!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. ~ Romans 8:28

My heart is still racing!  NewSong put on a concert that was absolutely incredible!  The praise and worship, along with the singing was in my opinion, the best I have seen!

WPFJ Welcomes Ronnie Milsap

WPFJ 1480 The Dove had a wonderful time, yet again, welcoming Ronnie Milsap!!  What an honor to meet such a talented man!  Even with an almost sold out concert, Ronnie conducted a "Meet and Greet" with all of the fans after the concert!  He was still there at 11:00pm signing autographs!  What a blessing!

Brenda has had the privilege of interviewing Ronnie before!  Now, I won't tell you how long ago that was; however JMack has the polaroid pictures of Ms. Brenda with Ronnie!

We all at WPFJ look forward to seeing you all at the next concert at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts!

Greater Vision with the WPFJ Bunch!

Even in the pouring rain, JMack and Brenda still managed to pull off an outstanding broadcast welcoming JMack's favorite group, Greater Vision!

While broadcasting from inside the Performing Arts Center, JMack and Brenda were able to have a great time with the folks that came to the concert!

Boy, that wonderful lady on the left sure looks a lot like Brenda!

Greater Vision giving JMack singing leasons!  What a privilege!
