Leavin for the, "Land of Oz" (Australia)

Hey Everyone !

Just wanted to express how important all of you are to me. Thank you so much for listening into WPFJ 1480 the Dove. It has been an honor for me to serve in the ministry of WPFJ for two years now, and I am blessed to have been apart of this movement. WPFJ is a hard working radio station who lives to serve the world. Whether it be the lost, rescued or broken person all are welcome to listen in on this station.
I can personally say that the staff at WPFJ have been such an encouragement to me personally. They have been mentors spiritually and emotionally. God is going to do great things through this station, and greater things are yet to be done here. I love this station so much, and it has been such a blessing to my life !
As I leave for Sydney, Australia I pray that the rest of the staff here will continue serving God with all of their hearts. To J-Mack: You are a devoted father, husband, brother in Christ, and Host on WPFJ. Thank you for your sense of humor, and your mentoring. To Mrs. Brenda Wooten: You have wisdom, strength, perseverance in spiritual fire. Your encouragement through words assists me in my everyday walk with Jesus. Thank you for your patience. To Mrs. Jennifer Chrisman: You are a great part of the staff at the Dove. Thanks for your laughter and smiles to all of the staff. Thank you my brothers and sisters !

To all the listeners, you are my joy !

Love for all only through Jesus,

Rob Ricotta

How much fun can the WPFJ staff have in a week?

Last week the staff of WPFJ was broadcasting from the Macon County Fair. Then Sunday night we were all at the concert for the Least of These tour. We had so much fun at the concert and it was a great night of worship.

Micah wants to share with J-Mack, while his brother Levi watches.

We had a great time during our broadcast at the Fair!

J-Mack and Jennifer got to meet the guys from Newsong, Aaron Shust and Francesca Battistelli.

Behind Bars

J-Mack, Jennifer and Audrea were "Locked Up for Good" on Sept. 10 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The MDA lock-up in the Franklin area raised money for families in the Western Carolinas with children who have Muscular Dystrophy to go to summer camp and purchase wheelchairs.

Downtown Franklin 4th of July Celebration 2008

JMack & Brenda are excited that the parade is finally beginning.

Brenda brings the parade to a screeching halt to talk with Jaiden Vanhook. Jaiden's pet, Miller, won the "Most Patriotic Pet" award.

Jennifer & JMack pose with Ducky. JMack was feeling very patriotic.

Not to be outdone, Brenda grabbed Ducky for a pose also!

JMack caught up with some young customers at Primrose Lane on Main St. after the parade. The air conditioned stores were a great relief from the heat!

Jennifer keeps the broadcast going while JMack is searching the crowd for Brenda!

JMack wanted to enjoy everyone else's watermelon!

Introducing...Jennifer Chrisman

Jennifer is the newest addition of the WPFJ staff. Recently she answered a few questions to help you get to know her a little better.

What is your full name? Jennifer Ann Brumm Chrisman

Married? Kids? Pets? My husband Daniel and I would both love to get a dog. Right now the only thing we are raising is a tomato plant.

When did you move to Franklin? We just moved to Franklin in December for Daniel's job.

Where did you call home before? Daniel and I moved from Joplin, Missouri. I was born and raised in a suburb of Houston.

Favorite Christian artist: Of course I don't have just one favorite, but to name of few of my top picks... Rich Mullins, Bebo Norman, Third Day, Jars of Clay and Switchfoot.

Favorite part of Franklin? The beautiful mountains all the great scenery.

Favorite animal? Dogs, specifically my parents dog Speedy.

Years in radio? I worked at the Contemporary Christian music station in Joplin for six years. I started while I was in college as a night time/weekend announcer. After I graduated a day time position opened up and I got to be involved in a lot of fun concerts and community events while I was there.

Do you prefer a good book or a good movie? I like reading and I like watching movies. But, if a book is made into a movie, I usually like to read the book before I see the movie.
